Since the surgeries needed for FtM and MtF transition are pretty much completely different, we'll list them on separate pages:

  • /FtM: top (mastectomy), bottom
  • /MtF: bottom (vaginoplasty and other options), top (breast augmentation), facial, voice

before going into surgery, you might want to file a Health Care Power of Attorney if you would prefer to designate a specific set of people, or order of preference, for making medical decisions on your behalf if you are unable to communicate for any length of time.
