Overview
MediaWiki's look-and-feel can be substantially altered through pluggable themes, commonly referred to as "skins". The default configuration allows users to choose between skins for their own use, though it is also possible to disable this ability and allow only one skin.
MediaWiki skins are collections of files, generally a single PHP file called NameOfSkin.php plus a folder called NameOfSkin.
Many skins are freely available on the Internet. Some may be used only for non-commercial purposes, while others have no such restrictions.
