The Book Exchange, or "BookEx" as it was sometimes called, was a large bookstore in downtown Durham, NC that went out of business around 2008. It was noted for its cavernous interior and many large rooms with narrow passageways full of floor-to-ceiling bookshelves.
The building still stands, but the BookEx has been replaced by three other businesses.
