From the stirflux web site: "Alternative Life Programs, Inc. is a privately run residential community based program which contracts exclusively with family and government agencies. In addition to housing, we provide counseling in the areas of employment, finance, education, as well as personal and family concerns. We also have contracts with other community agencies such as medical clinics, vocational rehabilitation services, and educational institutions." It is located in Durham, NC and appears to be Christian-operated, though it's not clear if this is official or not.

Information received verbally via a third party on 2008-03-14 indicates that they only serve female clients.
