About

A semantic alias, in Woozalian terminology, is a coding practice wherein a function is currently an alias for another function – i.e. it does nothing but call the other function, or code which accomplishes the same thing – but this could change in the future. The meaning (semantics) of the two function-names is subtly different, but they both happen to be implemented the same way at present.
