User commands

findsmb: lists Samba-connected machines by name, IP address, workgroup; also shows master browser status
- DMB = Domain Master Browser
- LMB = Local Master Browser
smbtree (manpage^m): shows Samba servers and their shares in a hierarchical format
net^m
nmblookup (manpage^m)
smbclient (manpage^m)
smbcontrol (manpage^m)
smbpasswd (manpage^m)
smbstatus (manpage^m)
testparm (manpage^m)

System commands

These are not usually run directly by the user.

smbd: the Samba daemon
nmbd: the NetBIOS name server daemon
