About

Modular computing refers to computer hardware that consists of interchangeable parts. Most desktop computing hardware has been modular since the invention of the IBM PC in the early 1980s, but more recently there have been projects to create modular laptops, touchpads, and cellphones.

  • There's also an open hardware project, but I don't have the link at the moment.
