This is where you (meaning whoever places the order) record the quantity actually ordered from the supplier.
The significance of this value is slightly different depending on which page you're on:
- needed items
- restock request
When entering this field in a restock request, this defaults to the quantity needed – but the actual request as sent to the supplier may have a different quantity for any of several possible reasons. This field lets you keep track of what was actually ordered, in case it's different from what the system suggested.
