The catalog subsystem consists of:

page types:
- supplier
- department
- title
- item
- topic
- image
helper types:
- item type
connectors:
- title-topic

...and a few other associated concepts.

Catalog URLs are mapped to specific pages (of a specific page type, etc.) via the mapping subsystem.

The catalog may be maintained manually or built from supplier source catalogs.
