Overview
Regency Plaza is a mostly-defunct (as of 2008) shopping center in Durham, NC directly across Shannon Road from South Square. The only remaining tenant is Sitar India Palace, an excellent Indian restaurant with a lunchtime buffet; there are also a number of non-contiguous businesses on the south and west edges of the parking lot, including China Buffet (adjacent to the South Square II office building), a Chuck E. Cheese, a Boston Market, and a couple of other restaurants.
The Plaza is slated to be redeveloped into a mixed-use residential/commercial center.
