I ended up cutting off one of these connectors and putting quick-disconnects on the wires.

Remaining blue connector (left to right, with latch on top):

* pink / red dots - no idea; not used

* red / white stripe - no idea; not used

Loose wires:

* yellow / red dots - attached to one quick disconnect (purpose to be re-figured out)

* orange / blue stripe / red dots - attached to one quick disconnect (purpose to be re-figured out)

====antenna====

[[Crutchfield]]'s adapter kit for the Nissan includes an adapter for this cable. It's not a perfect solution, however.

====EQ connectors====

These cables come from the EQ module (probably optional). Unfortunately most car radios don't seem to have a pre-amp out/in (is that a high-end $ thing?), so I've had to abandon the EQ for now :-( but I did figure out what each of the pins were for. The connectors are male 1/2" DIN connectors; you can buy matching sockets from [[Digi-Key]]. ''Note to self: find part numbers.''

Notes

Googling for a replacement tail-light assembly for this year/model brings up a lot of tail-lights for the Nissan D21, a pickup truck (Nissan part #11-1682-01). The lights are similar (same order, same general shape) but I don't think they are compatible; see this (1990 Nissan D21) versus this (the one I'm trying to replace). --Woozle 13:45, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
