US Auto Parts
The part of the store where you search for what you want is reasonably good (better than some, anyway): you can browse by make/model/year and subsystem, which makes it a lot easier to find what you're looking for when you don't know what it's called.
The part of the store which manages user accounts and purchases, however, sucks rather badly. When I was checking out, I had typed in all my payment and shipping information and pressed the button to continue, then on the next page I chose to create a user account -- and when I pressed the button to create the account, it took me back to the front page, and I was unable to go back to my cart and finish checking out. Did the order go through? I never got a confirmation email or an order number, so I can't check. The login screen accepts my email and password, but tosses me back on the front page. The "check your order" page wants an order number, which I don't have.
I had almost decided to try placing the order again or perhaps try a different store when the order confirmation email (2 of them) finally came through (maybe 5 minutes later?). So that's good... but they really need to do something about their interface. --Woozle 14:54, 11 May 2009 (EDT)
