Basic installation-from-source procedure which should work for everyone:
- download http://www.rasterman.com/files/get_e.sh
- edit it and tell it not to build entrance
- run it
Unfortunately, it is not really compatible with Synaptic/apt-get just yet. Apparently there is a way to force apt to work with it, but it requires leaving a broken package installed. APT will generally be unhappy about this.
