CAPS

CAPS is an acronym which can stand for any of the following:

• Child Abuse Prevention Services
• Child And Parent Services
• Counseling And Psychological Services

Apparently these different names are widely used for more or less the same set of family-supportive counseling services in different areas of the country.

The acronym CAPS should not be confused with the acronym CAP, which is short for CAP-MR/DD.
