About
University Tower is a skyscraper located on the west side of Durham, NC. Unusually, it is nowhere near downtown or any other tall office buildings. Due to a combination of factors -- the way it stands out from the landscape, its color and general shape, and the local opposition to its construction -- it is often referred to as "the green weenieA" (see also: "the Blue Pickle").
