Linux
The device soft-of-works in Linux without any further tinkering, but functionality is limited. Information about proper configuration is limited, and dated. By default, the audio driver seems to see it as a surround-sound device and cannot be persuaded otherwise. This results in audio with a short-delay echo on output channels 1-4, and apparently mono output on all channels.
