/etc/postfix/virtual
is similar to /etc/aliases except:
- applies only to external incoming email
- format is much simpler and less flexible - only one destination per target, and that must always be an email address
After modifying the file:
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual
— updates thevirtual.db
file/etc/init.d/postfix reload
or possiblyservice postfix reload
(to be tested)
