Overview
NC Health Choice for Children (NCHC) is North Carolina's implementation of the federal SCHIP program which "provides funding to extend health care coverage to roughly 115,000 children each month whose family income exceeds Medicaid financial eligibility criteria".
Confusion
NCHC materials are often packaged with NC Health Check, which is North Carolina's implementation of Medicaid. The two programs share a common logo (or did as of 2008; this may have changed), leading to some confusion between the two programs.
