question/1
- Question: how do you add someone who already has Signal installed? The only way I can find to add a new person is to "invite" them, which just sends them a text inviting them to install Signal.

- desktop app:
"search" for their phone number, and then send them a message. This doesn't work; it only searches content of messages already received.- Go into a group conversation and add a new user. Enter the phone number of the person you want to add, and invite them. (This seems to function independently of the phone's Contacts data.)

Unverified: It may be that you just add people to the regular Android address book and they will show up in Signal if they also have Signal installed. This does not seem to work.
