The Hughes Center for Exceptional Children is a residential psychiatric treatment facility owned and operated by Psychiatric Solutions. It is located in Danville, VA. It is a campus style facility with 56 beds, serving males and females ages 13 to 22 diagnosed with mental retardation and an Axis I diagnosis or pervasive developmental disorder/autism.

The Center works to help young men and women learn how to be successful at home, at school and in the community.
