Please be advised this is a work in progress. I haven't come to any fixed form for the archive, so right now everything is just inserted, like my basement, chaotically. Eventually I'll reorganize so things are a bit more useful...

Introduction

Pam Winton, who is still the official Pinecrest Road historian because no one else wants to do it, went through the scrapbook and created preliminary lists of people in the pictures. There's a decent chance that I (Tim) have mistyped some names as she wrote them, so please fix them if they appear incorrect... also, I appear to have knocked a couple off in the carrying and don't know where they should go.

The names default to order by left to right, comments in parentheses; an italicized name means the person is deceased, emboldened means the person still lives on the street. Each caption links to a picture which exists both here and in the hardcopy scrapbook.

Invitations

Since the first Pinecrest Road party in 1981, residents have been invited to gather in the street center around the beginning of September. Below are a few surviving copies, providing a brief glimpse into the world of handwriting, ribbon printers, and early versions of PrintShop Pro and Microsoft Works.

This is what happens when you take the pictures out to scan them, then put them back, then crop the images into separate files. By way of disseminating knowledge, if you ever have to scan pictures en masse it's helpful to keep the sticky notes in the scans somewhere.
