FAQ

Q. Why do most of your projects seem to include the word "ferret"? Do you really like ferrets or something?
A. Three reasons:
  • My hypertwin is quite fond of ferrets (though we do not have any).
  • Ferrets like to collect shiny things - so an $X-ferret is kind of a "collector of [information about] $X".
  • Nobody else seems to be using "ferret" as an affix for their projects, so I can use it more easily come up with unique names for mine.
