SluggySquad is a chat room using the IRC protocol, as well as more loosely referring to the group of people who chat there and the family of "Sluggy"-related chat rooms hosted on the VillageIRC network (of which SluggySquad is the main room).
The SluggySquad chat rooms are nominally for fans of the webcomic Sluggy Freelance; the comic's creator, Pete Abrams, has allowed use of the word "Sluggy" in "SluggySquad" as long as there is no commercial use of the term, but has not given the group any kind of official status.
