Overview
Microsoft Office 97 Professional Edition, often referred to as Microsoft Office 97 Pro, is a proprietary office suite containing the following applications:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 97
- Microsoft Word 97
- Microsoft Outlook 97, the 1997 version of Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Excel 97
- Microsoft Access 97, the 1997 version of Microsoft Access
It has been superceded by at least 2 newer versions of Microsoft Office.
Notes
During installation, apparently only the first 4 digits of the CD key are needed; the remainder can be 0000000 or any other 7-digit number. I am making a note of the CD key on our copy, as I am always losing it (which can be a real nuisance when you're trying to get your hardware upgraded without holding up work significantly): 4190
