About

The Mastodon application folder (MAF) is typically a folder named /live in the Mastodon deployment folder. It contains all the Mastodon-specific code and files, as opposed to files associated with the other pieces of software that Mastodon uses.

The actual path for the MAF may be found in any of Mastodon's systemd configuration files (/etc/systemd/system/mastodon-*.service) as the value of the WorkingDirectory setting.
