About
HostGator is a large web hosting company based in Houston, TX. It was originally founded in Florida in 2002.
Wind Power
Their advertising often mentions that they are "130% powered by wind energy", but we have not been able to find any additional information about this. One key question would be: in the event that grid power goes down, is their server farm still being powered by wind, or is the wind merely an offset being pumped back into the grid at a different location?
