EULA stands for End-User License Agreement, and refers to the writing to which a user of computer software must agree before being allowed to use the software. Often this writing is printed on the envelope containing the software's installation CDs, with a seal over the envelope flap stating "Opening this envelope indicates your acceptance of the license terms" or words to that effect. In other cases, the EULA appears within a dialog box to which the user must respond by pressing either an "Accept" or "Decline" button; if the user presses "Decline", the software does not install.
