This category is for intermediate care facilities that work with developmentally disabled (DD) patients, which generally includes those who are mentally retarded (MR) (since MR is a type of DD). This type of facility is generally referred to as [an] ICF MR/DD.

  • If a facility is specifically for MR only, it may be filed under category:facility/care/intermediate/MR instead.
  • If it is for DD in general but specializes in MR, then it may be filed under both categories.
