About

CAN-TR is the Chatham County Area Network of Therapeutic Riding.

Mission

  • to provide equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) in Central NC to individuals with physical, emotional or developmental disabilities, alongside their typically developing peers when possible;
  • to educate our community about people with disabilities and equine related activities;
  • to link people with disabilities to equine professionals;
  • to engage people in volunteer work to achieve a positive result for themselves and for their community
