About
Akaunting is an open-source web-based business accounting package written mostly in PHP.
Although the core application is open-source, it appears that core functionality necessary to actually use it – mainly the double-entry application – costs money.
Also, the documentation is kind of terrible in that it perfectly parallels the available menu structure (rather than describing how to accomplish various tasks) and does little more than describe what one finds on each page. The instructions for how to install applications are inaccurate or, at best, incomplete, as they do not match what is visible.
