It may also refer to any condition in which one or more specific frequency bands are &quot;sucked out&quot; of the spectrum for any reason, resulting in severe signal loss within those ranges (especially in the field of audio).<br /> <br /> (It also appears to be an unrelated term in poker.)<br /> ==Note==<br /> This definition is based largely on (and extrapolated from) an explanation given to me by a [[Time-Warner Cable]] technician.
