==About==<br />
The [[Book Exchange]], or "BookEx" as it was sometimes called, was a large bookstore in downtown [[Durham, NC]] that went out of business around 2008. It was noted for its cavernous interior and many large rooms with narrow passageways full of floor-to-ceiling bookshelves.<br />
<br />
The building still stands, but the BookEx has been replaced by three other businesses.<br />
