==About==
The [[501 Diner]] was a diner-style restaurant located in [[Chapel Hill, NC]] on the service road just to the right as you go under the Franklin Street bridge at the Franklin Street / Fordham Boulevard / 15-501 exchange coming from Durham.

In one of the rooms, there were booths located around a central island which directly accessed the kitchen, so servers could access the tables without going into customer space.

The building was originally an automobile gas/service station. After the Diner closed, it stood vacant for some years and was next occupied by a [[School of Rock]] location (see {{wikipedia|School of Rock (company)}}).
