The China Buffet in Durham, NC is one location of a small chain of Chinese buffet restaurants in North Carolina. It is located across Shannon Road from the South Square shopping area (Sam's Club side), between Chuck E. Cheese and the "South Square II" office building.

Although we preferred the food at the now-defunct China Inn, we often ended up at here because it is closer. Their selection and quality is dependable and caters a bit more to American tastes than other Chinese buffets (for that reason, it tends to be more kid-friendly). Harena's mom also likes the China Buffet because it has a lot of windows and is generally well-lit.
